Nasal pillows are my personal choice and I have use every brand available. Each has a different kind of "angle adapter" which allows for the nasal pillow piece to be angled up towards the nostrils, or out and away from. Make sure to understand the nuance of your particluar brand of nasal pillows! Which brand are you using?
The pillows should be placed gently in to the nostril area and not shoved up too far - they should not push up the nose ( Pig Nose I call it)
Most nasal irritation comes from improper placement of the nasal pillows - and sometimes if we toss and turn a lot in sleep, it can jar the pillows out of place a bit and cause irritation. When this occasionally happens to me, i grab for the Neosporin - A LITTLE DAB L DO YA - you don't want to ingest this in to your lungs, so just a dab…really. It will lubricate the sore spot and also since its an antibiotic, will help heal quickly. Next time, try not to wait until you've really developed a sore - the minute you feel an irritation, grab for the Neosporin!
Hope the sore spot heals quickly so you can get back to using your nasal pillows.
If raw nose means the nasal lining caused from the direct blast of cpap air, try adjusting your heated humidifer temp setting. Turn it up a notch. OCEAN, as mentioned by Dreamer, is a great product. It's like a drink of water for the nose :) Available at all drugstores, its a simple and inexpensive saline solution. One squirt in each nostril at bedtime should be helpful. Sometimes I have to apply another squirt during the middle of the night if dryness occurs -
good luck to you

Do you use a humidifier? Perhaps you need more…or less.
I turn mine up when nose is raw, and other times I have to turn it down to avoid congestion.
Saline nasal spray might also help (I have a can of Ocean Ultra Saline Nasal Mist on my nightstand).
The Dreamer.
